JUNE 2009: Tim Adams starts collecting on his punt with pinot gris (Release of 2009 Pinot Gris & 2008 Semillon)

Tim Adams admits he took a bit of punt in 2001 when he and his wife Pam Goldsack and good friend Grant Crawley expanded their Sheoaks Vineyard by planting two hectares of pinot gris — and an even bigger one when they devoted 6.5 hectares to the variety in the new Ladera Vineyard which he and Pam established in 2004.
