Oz Clarke, one of Britain’s most highly regarded wine critics, has chosen four of Tim Adams’ wines for the 2006 edition of his Wine Buying Guide, including two in the Top 20 Best Buys overall and another as the top wine in his selection of best buys in the £7-10 category. South Australia’s Team Wino has again broken Variety South Australia’s fundraising record by notching up $172,000 in the lead-up to the 2005 Vodaphone SA Variety Bash, which departs Port Lincoln, on the Eyre Peninsula, next Saturday (August 13) for a week-long jaunt along some of the state’s roughest and most isolated roads, finishing in Adelaide on August 20.
